使用Slow Palatal Expansion Active Plate改善兒童安格式三級咬合異常之鼻呼吸、牙弓空間不足與前牙錯咬－病例報告

摘要

對於安格式三級咬合異常之兒童患者，其矯正治療有許多方法與觀點。本病例報告將著重於呼吸道改善方面。面對安格式三級咬合異常、牙弓空間不足、口呼吸、鼻呼吸道阻塞、前牙錯咬之12歲女童，我們採用Slow Palatal Expansion Active Plate與Myobrace T2系列將之進行矯正，除了達成家屬的前牙美觀要求，也改善患者的鼻呼吸阻塞問題。若患者未來想更改善齒列排列，建議往後採固定式矯正或隱形矯正來達成。

There're many ways and opinions for the treatment of Angle's class III malocclusion children. In this case, we focus on the improvement of the nasal airway. Facing the 12-year-old girl with Angle's class III malocclusion, arch deficiency, mouth breathing, obstructed nasal airway, and anterior crossbite, we use Slow Palatal Expansion Active Plate, combined with Myobrace T2 series during the orthodontic treatment. We not only fulfilled the patient's parents request of anterior esthetics, but also improved the obstruct of nasal airway. If the patient want to improve the dental alignment in the future, we will suggest her accept edgewise appliance or Invisible braces.
