Using Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer for Bioimaging Applications

摘要


螢光共振能量轉移在分析化學或生物影像上被廣泛地應用。使用螢光蛋白做為螢光基團,具有數種優勢,包含:可以遺傳工程的方式控制表現的時間點、數量多寡、及空間位置。結合蛋白質工程,更能合理化設計序列的組成、螢光基團的相位、和距離。本文針對幾種近年來的應用做概括的回顧及介紹。

Fluorescence resonance energy transfer-based technique is commonly used in analytical chemistry and bioimaging applications. There are various advantages of using fluorescent proteins as fluorophores for FRET applications. For example, the expression of protein level could be fine-tuned controlled temporally and spatially. The sequence, orientation, and length of linker could be rationally designed by protein engineering. This review summarizes the applications of FRET-based intracellular sensor.
