目的:本研究旨在探討日間照顧中心的高齡者在介入十二週的能力回復運動學習方案後,對其平衡能力與自尊的影響。研究方法:採準實驗設計召募60位50歲以上的雲林縣日間照顧中心的高齡者為研究對象,實驗組30名,對照組30名,介入前後分別進行平衡能力檢測與自尊量表填寫;實驗組由指導員進行十二週能力回復運動學習方案,每週兩次,每次50分鐘。而對照組維持日常生活,不介入任何訓練課程。資料處理與統計:本研究利用SPSS20.0統計軟體進行分析,以描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、相依樣本t檢定進行分析,顯著水準訂為α=.05。研究結果:在接受十二週能力回復運動學習方案後,一、實驗組之平衡能力有顯著提升。二、實驗組之自尊有顯著提升。三、實驗組之平衡能力顯著優於對照組。四、實驗組與對照組沒有顯著差異。結論:十二週能力回復運動學習方案能有效提升高齡者之平衡能力與自尊,故適合推廣本運動方案給高齡運動規劃者、日間照顧中心、社區、運動中心及高齡照顧機構參考,以促進高齡者健康老化、提升肌耐力、預防跌倒等意外事故的發生。
Purpose: To explore the effects of Power Rehabilitation on Balance and Self-Esteem for elderly adults. Methods: To recruit sixty volunteers in Day-care centers of Yunlin county in this study. Subjects were divided into experimental group (n=30) and control group (n=30) by their personal preference. The experimental group was instructed to Balance Test and fill in Self-Esteem Scale by instructors for 2 days per week, 50 minutes per session for twelve weeks. Pre- and Post-tests were implemented before and after the intervention in both groups. The data collected included descriptive statistics to analyze the volunteers’ basic data, Independent-Samples T Test was used to evaluate the difference between groups before training and Paired-Samples T Test was used to evaluate the difference between groups after training. Significant level was set atα=.05. Results: The experimental group had significant improvement on Balance and Self-Esteem. The experimental group had significant improvement on Balance better than the control group. But there were no significant changes observed on Self-Esteem between the experimental and control groups. Conclusions: Power Rehabilitation learning program can improve the Balance and Self-Esteem in elderly adults.
