酸鹼值影響quinolone及fluoroquinolone類藥物對弧菌之抗菌活性研究

Effects of pH on the Antibacterial Activity of Quionolones and Fluoroquinolones against Vibrio spp.

摘要


本研究目的在於探討不同酸鹼值quinolone及fluoroquinolone類共10種藥物對分離自蝦類、淡水及海水養殖池魚類的Vibrio spp.之抗菌活性。由實驗結果顯示在pH 5.0時,除了nalidixic acid(NA)之抗菌活性較在pH 7.5增強(MIC值減少為1至-8倍)外;其它fluoroquinolone類藥物之抗菌活性皆比pH在7.5時降低(MIC值可增加為2-64倍)。在pH 6.0時,除了NA及oxolinic acid(OA)之抗菌活性較在pH 7.5增強(MIC值均減少為1至-4倍)外;其它fluoroquinolone類藥物之抗菌活性亦比pH在7.5時降低(MIC值可增加1-16倍)。在pH 7.0時,大部分fluoroquinolone類藥物之抗菌活性較在pH 7.5降低(MIC值可增加為1-8倍)。在pH 8.0時,大部分fluoroquinolone類藥物抗菌活性較在pH 7.5增強(MIC值減少為1至-8倍)。在pH 9.0時,NA及OA之抗菌活性較在pH 7.5降低(MIC值分別增加為1-32倍以上及1-8倍), 其它fluoroquinolone類藥物之抗菌活性大抵上增強(MIC值減少為1至-16倍)。

The results of this investigation revealed that the antibacterial activities of quinolones/fluoroquinolones were affected by pH. The MICs of quinolones increased (2-64 times) at low pH (pH 5) but NA decreased (1-8 times). At pH 6.0, the antibacterial activities of NA and OA decreased (1-4 times), but others increased (1-16 times). At pH 7.0, MICs of all quinolones/fluoroquinolones increased (1-8 times). Surprisingly, MICs of all quinolones/ fluoroquinolones decreased (1-8 times) at pH 8.0. That meant the antibacterial activities of all quinolones increased at pH 8.0. However, the results showed the antibacterial activities of quinolones/ fluoroquinolones increased (1-16 times) at high pH (pH 9) except NA and OA.
