Separation and Identification of Diazepam, Nordazepam, Flunitrazepam, Bromazepam, Flurazepam HCl, Alprazolam and Triazolam by GC/MS

A rapid GC/EIMS procedure was developed for the separation and identification of diazepam, nordazepam, flunitrazepam, bromazepam, flurazepam HCl, alprazolam and trizaolam. Codeine phosphate was used as the internal standard and OV-17 was chosen as an analytical column in this experiment. The seven benzodiazepines are commonly abused as criminal drugs in our society. This gas chromatographic analytical condition can give good resolutions and precise results rapidly.
