硝化纖維素塗料耐光性之改善

The Effect of Light Stabilizers on the Lightfastness of Nitrocellulose Lacquer

摘要


硝化纖維素塗料(NC拉卡)為木器家具業者最常使用的透明塗料之一,但是卻很容易受光線之影響而產生黃化。本試驗利用添加光安定劑之方法,評估不同配方光安定劑對NC拉卡塗膜耐光性之改善效果。耐光性試驗分為室內(λ>300 nm)與室外(λ>275 nm)加速耐光試驗兩種,以色差計分析塗膜表面之顏色變化,並以衰減式紅外線光譜分析塗膜表面之化學結構變化。試驗結果顯示,雖然NC拉卡塗膜之室外耐光性不易以添加光安定劑之方法予以有效地改善,但是以同時添加Tinuvin-1130與Tinuvin-292兩種光安定劑,或同時添加Tinuvin-1130、Tinuvin-292與Irganox-245三種光安定劑之方法可以有效地減緩塗膜之黃化速率,並減輕其黃化。至於NC拉卡塗膜之室內耐光性則較容易以添加光安定劑之方法予以改善,單獨添加Tinuvin-1130一種光安定劑,或同時添加Tinuvin-1130與Tinuvin-292兩種光安定劑,或同時添加Tinuvin-1130、Tinuvin-292與Irganox-245三種光安定劑均能有效改善NC拉卡塗膜之室內耐光性,其中,以同時添加二種光安定劑或三種光安定劑所獲得之改善效果最佳。

Nitrocellulose lacquer (NC lacquer) is one of the most popular clear coatings used in Taiwan furniture industry. However, NC lacquer is susceptible to light-induced yellowing when exposed to atmospheric condition. The objective of this study is to evaluate the improving effectiveness of the light stabilizers on the lightfastness of NC lacquer. The changes of surface color and chemical structure are analyzed by using color difference meter and multiple internal reflection infrared spectroscope (MIR). According to the experimental results, it is revealed that, although the yellowing induced by the light with wavelength longer than 275 nm can not be effectively inhibited, the yellowing rate of NC lacquer film can be diminished by the addition of either Tinuvin-1130/Tinuvin-292 stabilizers combination or Tinuvin-1130/Tinuvin-292/Irganox-245 stabilizers combination. On the other hand, the yellowing of NC lacquer film induced by the light with wavelength longer than 300 nm can be effectively diminished by the addition of either Tinuvin-1130 stabilizer or Tinuvin-1130/Tinuvin-292 stabilizers combination or Tinuvin1130/Tinuvin-292/Irganox-245 stabilizers combination.
