摘要

The government's reform of the national pension plan and the amendment of the long-term care system is affecting the business of senior homes. The number of residents at Chang Gung Health and Culture Village (CGHCV) declined in 2016, after a 10-year stable growth period from 2005. Despite the deteriorating external environment, CGHCV plans to open a new large facility in the near future. Shin-Yei Dai, the new director of CGHCV appointed in January 2017 is tasked with determining a business strategy that will keep existing residents, ensure residents who left return, and develop a new market.
