The purpose of this study was to explore and analyze the foul characteristics of football players in 2006 world cup football competition. The film analysis method was used to gather the data from the sample of 32 teams, and 64 games were obtained. The research findings indicated that the total number of foul in first half games had higher score than second half games; the foul of upper limb motion was more than lower limb motion; both cautionary card and red card is broken the record of 2002. The key finding point out six significant foul motions: pushing dragging tipping, kicking colliding, and handling Implications of these results for referees, coaches and football lovers are related on training as reference for further research.
