摘要
塵肺症與臺灣產業的連結，從早期的煤礦工人到近代的陶瓷工人都有非常多的案例被提出，但在產業移轉及製程改善下，這些工人似乎逐漸減少。然而現代工業中各種新的材料紛紛被使用，這些材料是否安全？這篇文章就來探討鋯化合物和塵肺症的相關性。一位55歲男性鑄造業工人因為被診斷出來嚴重的肺纖維化而來到職業醫學門診，經過各項檢查及工作場所實地查訪，排除其他可能致病因素後，並查證相關流行病學研究，初步判定是一位鋯粉塵暴露引起的塵肺症。
