Crisis Handling Strategy: A Theoretical and Practical Study for Military Crisis Management

摘要


Crisis handling is one of the most important part in crisis management in which a prompt react is necessary. Crisis management is a developing social science originated from crisis processing procedure when a nation facing military challenges, for example, the Cuba missile crisis in 1962, and the Persian Gulf Wars in 1991 and 2003. The root causes, characteristics and categories of those crises are particularly interesting to many scholars in developing a conclusive analysis tool on principles, strategy, and necessary measures for crisis resolutions. Current study focuses on the fundamental and subsequent impacts on organization development and responses toward such incident/ accident. Through some common or particular case studies, current paper provides a theoretical and practical application for military crisis management through this fast-developing science.
