Autonomic dysreflexia is a clinical symptom often seen in patients with high-level spinal cord injury. This symptomis latent, potentially life-threatening and considered amedical emergency. The text discusses the nursing management of this syndrome with introduction of its pathophysiology, precipitating factors, signs, symptoms and effects.
