Globalization business environment speeds up and shortens product life cycle. It is also noticed that today's industries face the challenges of diversification in product designs, row material supply, intermediate part manufacturing to final commercial goods, which are typical involving multi-national companies. Shortening product life cycle and diversification bring in vagueness and randomness together into manufacturing processes. Therefore randomness and fuzziness coexist in modern manufacturing environments and force us to adjust quality control methodology in order to seek high customer satisfaction and better market share. In this paper, we investigate quality control chart construction under random fuzzy environment on the foundation of the axiomatic credibility measure theory.
