石橋遺址蔦松文化陶器編年

The chronology of Niao-sung Culture pottery at Shiqiao Site

摘要


蔦松文化為台灣西南地區最晚期已進入鐵器時代的史前文化,分布廣泛而遺址眾多,並因其與西拉雅平埔族的關係而獲得重視。近年來因南科開發案及相關的發掘頻繁,使得西南部史前文化的年代學與蔦松文化的分期因新資料的出現而有了更多的分類架構。值得注意的是先前的研究多以陶器特徵與特殊器物劃分廣域蔦松文化的期、相、區域類型,但個別遺址的內涵卻不甚明白。因此本文以石橋遺址中所復原的完整陪葬陶器為資料,討論陶器相對的年代差異,以做為未來比較研究的基礎。 經陶器編年及墓葬行為的比較,石橋遺址中墓葬年代方面早晚有所差異。遺址東側行鋪陶葬,陪葬品為泥質夾粉白碎礫、粗棕砂卵體瓶的人群,從器物特徵與遺址內的定年數據來看,可能處於大湖文化魚寮期(魚寮類型)至蔦松鞍子期的範圍,但證據十分不足。隨著鋪陶葬的形式改變,在遺體下鋪設原為類似葬具,不能復原的許多陶器破片,轉變為以器物為單位的破碎陶器。此時陪葬罐材質為紅褐色夾砂陶,器身縮短介於罐形器與瓶形器之間。此種出現在陪葬陶器中平底敞口的鼓腹罐,為各個早期至晚期蔦松文化遺址都可以發現的器型。自蔦松期陪葬陶器也開始多樣化,開始出現缽形器,之後又出現了歛口的罐形器、盆形器。帶紐圈足的風格出現後,便自由組合於各類陶器之上,出現在各個墓葬叢集中最晚期的個體之中。 本次研究建立起石橋遺址蔦松文化由早至晚的陪葬陶器器型,將來若能配合其他遺址的完整器型資料及原料來源分析,便可能更清楚了解蔦松文化的陶器在各遺址間的分布及變化。

Niao-sung Culture (蔦松文化) is the last archaeological culture in southern Taiwan ,and its relationship with the aboriginal Siraya people get attention.In recent years, excavations in the Southern Science Park(台南科學園區) and other archaeological sites gave a lot new information .Based on these material, researchers made classifications for Niao-sung Culture as different period and many area type. But nevertheless the meaning of individual sites do not quite understand.This paper about pottery classifications and chronology at the Shiqiao Site(石橋遺址) to serve as the basis for future comparative studies. Based on the mortuary pottery of the Shiqiao Site, the tall vessel in east side burial were early types, which might be in Tahu culture period Yuliao type , but the evidence is insufficient. The mortuary pottery and burial behavior began to diversify since Niao-sung period. The bowl-shaped、 basin-shaped and pot-shaped pottery began to appear. In the latest period, the decoration button on the pot became a common style.
