摘要

本書目為〈二十世紀英國長篇小說中譯本經眼錄〉（《翻譯季刊》1997年第三、四期）及〈二十世紀英語劇作譯本經眼錄〉（《翻譯學報》1997-98年第一、二期）之續編。書目內所列之譯作，可見於中港臺各大圖書館。為免資料重複，再版或重印之譯本，概不收錄。又本書目第一部分，所列中港臺三地出版之書目，分別標上(Ｃ) (Ｈ) (Ｔ)，以茲識別。
編纂此書目之目的，在於使翻譯研究學者能更全面、深入地掌握中港臺三地在現代派詩歌翻譯方面之實績，進而推動中國詩歌翻譯之比較研究。
書目第一部分，羅列超過一百個英詩中譯集。編者參閱過之雜誌、期刊，諸如《外國文學》、《譯海》、《純文學》、《詩刊》、《國際詩壇》、《文化譯叢》、《詩風》、《現代美國文學研究》、《中外文學》、《現代》及《現代文學》等，由於數目繁多，均未列出。書目第二部分，則以原標題英文字母順序，詳列五位現代派詩人（奧登、艾略特、龐德、史蒂文斯、葉慈）之詩作，其中大部分皆為二十世紀初之作品，譯本則多見於八十代以後。總的來說，五位詩人中，葉慈詩作之中譯最多，約佔全書目之一半，反映出在二十世紀譯壇中，葉氏受歡迎及重視之程度。譯者方面，單以數量計，則裘小龍及趙毅衡之譯作最多。
由於資料分佈零散，不少譯作之出版情況及英文原名均無從稽究，有待進一步補充。又書目涉及範圍較廣，疏誤之處在所難免，還望讀者能來信指正，讓編者能加以修訂。

This bibliography lists Chinese translations of Modernist poetry by Auden, Eliot, Pound, Stevens and Yeats as published in Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Mainland. By no means exhaustive, it is an attempt to provide researchers with information on translations undertaken in the twentieth century, which appear in over a hundred anthologies. An effort has also been made to evaluate individual translations, making use of recently developed translation-critical methods, especially comparative criticism. It is hoped that this bibliography will furnish a basis for the comprehensive study of English poetry translated into Chinese, make possible discussions of regional differences in translating, and allow scholars to theorize about poetry translation in general. It is a continuation of two other bibliographies by the same author, one on translations of British fiction (Translation Quarterly, nos. 3 & 4) and one on translations of English drama (Journal of Translation Studies, nos.l & 2).
