空氣清淨機AHAM AC-1效能測試標準修改的影響研究

摘要
伴隨經濟發展與生活水準提升，室內空氣品質日漸受到重視，相對應之商品使用量也因應而生，其中最受注目的產品應爲空氣清淨機。國內雖尚未進行空氣清淨功能性指標之管理，但中央標準局正進行我國空氣清淨機測試標準的制定。在國際上則多數參考美國家電製造商協會AHAMAC-1之標準建立空氣清淨機功能指標與市場管理機制，然而該標準於1986年開始施行至今，因應家電節能與有效適用面積等問題，於2000年後陸續修改測試標準內容，以提供使用者更多空氣清淨機的操作資訊，更希望藉由此測試標準修訂協助空氣清淨產業注入新的研發能量。本研究針對2006年版AHAMAC-1之標準修改內容，進行空氣清淨機於新舊標準施行上商品功能差異研究，探討包含耗電量、CADR值與適用面積等標準增修條文之影響，期望本文的研究成果對未來消費者選用空氣清淨機或產業開發商品提供具體的參考。

With the changing of life styles and the evolution of industries, indoor air quality (IAQ) issues have gradually drawn more and more attention (for instance, in hospitals, factories, and households, etc.). The products for improving indoor air quality are thus made, among which the room air cleaners are most popular. Since the efficiency of room air cleaners to the improvement of indoor air quality is difficult to be determined by human sensation, the performances of room air cleaners are thus tested in a standard testing environment, with special instruments. Many room air cleaners are marketed with the emphases of high efficiency of dust capture and air filtration capabilities with the filters equipped. Nevertheless, the fabrication of room air cleaners involves technologies of many fields and many factors affect the performance of the air cleaners. To reflect the technology advancement, the standard for testing room air cleaners, ANSI/AHAM AC-1, was revised recently. The changes include the layout of test room and the placement of tested devices. Also the new standard adds a section addressing the power consumption measurement to determine the performance/power ratio for Energy Star regulating. This paper examines the hidden meanings of making such changes. It is believed that this information can help manufacturers produce better products and also let customer have greater choice of air cleaners.
