Ten New Records of Lanternfishes (Pisces: Myctophiformes) Collected around Taiwanese Waters

台灣經濟海域內水深3570m以淺處，於2002年八月到2004年七月，使用海研一號及海研三號的小型單纜雙網版底拖網、橫桿底拖網及中層浮游動物採集網(IKMT)採集到10種台灣新紀錄燈籠魚目魚類。分別為冠冕眶燈魚(Diaphus diademophilus)、符氏眶燈魚(Diaphus fragilis)、燦爛眶燈魚(Diaphus fulgens)、耀眼眶燈魚(Diaphis lucidus)、巴氏眶燈魚(Diaphus parri)、翹光眶燈魚(Diaphus regani)、印明燈魚(Diogenichthys panurgus)、少燈太寧燈魚(Taaningichthys paurolychnus)、大鱗新燈魚(Neoscopelus macrolepidotus)及多孔新燈魚(Neoscopelus porosus)。太寧燈魚屬(Taaningichthys)則是台灣的新記錄屬。因此，目前台灣燈籠魚目增加為二科17屬50種。本文除簡述新記錄種之關鍵特徵及分布圖，並提供台灣燈籠魚之檢索表。

Eight new records of myctophids fishes and two new records of neoscopelid fishes were collected from R/V ”Ocean Research Ⅰ” & ”Ocean Research Ⅲ” around Taiwan from 227-3590 m during August 2002-July 2004. They are Diaphus diademophilus Nafpaktitis, 1978, Diaphus fragilis Tåning, 1928, Diaphus fulgens (Brauer, 1904), Diaphis lucidus (Goode & Bean, 1896), Diaphus parri Tåning, 1931, Diaphus regani Tåning, 1932, Diogenichthys panurgus Bolin, 1946, Taaningichthys paurolychnus Davy, 1972, Neoscopelus macrolepidotus Johnson, 1863, Neoscopelus porosus Arai, 1969. The genus Taaningichthys is a new record of Taiwan. The total numbers of Taiwanese lanternfishes currently comprise 50 species belonging to 17 genera. In this paper, diagnostic characters and geographical distributions of these 10 newly recorded lanternfishes are described. A key to the Taiwanese lanternfishes is also provided.
