《世說新語》的成語化機制及其教學應用

Idiomaticalization of "Shi Shuo Xin Yu" and Idiom Teaching

摘要


本文結合文本、社會主體、成語現象探討《世說》中的成語化機制,著重於語言與社會的互動、共構現象。成語化的機制一方面涉及到漢語的特色,一方面也涉及到普通話法的特色,前者如漢語音節韻律特色、故事教化策略,後者如簡潔象徵意涵、詞彙化導向、類推效應等等。最後我們依研究成果,將成語化的機制運用在教學方面,包含教學者中心策略與學習者中心策略的運用,策略執行時則結合舊有不同時代的社會、文本與成語,並從現今所處的社會主體當中運用成語再創新的話語文本。希望透過成語、文本、社會層面的結合分析,使研究成果可以透過教學策略的運用而實務化。

This article discusses the idiomaticalization of ”Shi Shuo Xin Yu” from combing discourses, society and idioms. We will focus on the interaction and co-construction both within language and society. From the discussion of idiomaticalization, we found the use of idioms can pass through different times and places. The mechanics of idiomaticalization are related with the characteristics of Chinese, such like syllable rhythm, story enlightenment strategy, and they also are related with the universal grammar, such like simple symbolic meaning, lexicalisation guidance, and analogy effect. In the end of this article, we attempt to have our research results about idiomaticalization of ”Shi Shuo Xin Yu” applying to idiom teaching which will enable our research become more practical.
