急診護理指導對傷口縫合病人之照護知識與技能成效探討

The Effects of Nursing Instruction on Suture Wound Care for Emergency Department Patients

摘要


本研究目的在探討外傷縫合病人接受傷口護理指導後,對於傷口照護的相關知識與技能之改善成效。以類實驗研究設計,選樣自花蓮某醫院急診部門,將符合收案條件之72位對象隨機分為A或B組。A組提供「縫合傷口居家照護護理指導單張」自行閱讀,B組提供相同護理指導單張並配合口頭指導後,兩組分別於介入前後進行問卷測量。結果顯示兩種護理指導方式皆能提升病人的傷口照護知識與技能得分;提供病人單張並配合口頭指導組,其傷口照護的知識與技能得分皆高於僅提供單張組,且呈顯著差異。縫合傷口的出院護理指導不僅改善病人之傷口照護知識與技能,也提昇了護理的服務品質。

The purpose of this article was to investigate effects of nursing instruction on knowledge and skill of suture wound care for patients. This research was collected from the emergency department of a hospital in Hualien City. A total of 72 patients were selected and divided into two group. Group A received only an instruction sheet for suture wound home care. Group B received the same instruction sheet and verbal instructions by the researcher. Knowledge and skill scores increased in both groups after nursing intervention. The scores of group B were higher than that of group A after nursing intervention. Nursing instruction of wound care not only improved patient' understanding of proper suture wound care, but it also improved the quality of nursing care.
