E-mail Group as a Platform for Communicating PBL Pedagogy across National Boundaries

並列摘要

Problem-based learning (PBL) is fast becoming an integral part of many medical curricula in the Asia-Pacific region. Some medical schools are still struggling with the implementation of PBL where others have succeeded. The yahoo PBLASPAC group e-mail was established in 2008 initially as a mailing list for participants at a Conference and later evolved to become an excellent learning platform for communicating PBL across national boundaries and for PBL consultation and exchange of ideas. The objectives of the yahoo PBLASPAC group e-mail have been met with varying degrees of success in the implementation of PBL emerging from the interchange between medical educationalists in this discussion loop.
