台灣偏鄉地區性教育介入之成效分析-以花蓮縣國民中學為例

Effects of Sexuality Education Curriculum Intervention in a Remote Area of Taiwan- A Case of Junior High Schools in Hualien

Abstracts


本研究目的在瞭解以「全人性教育」精神為基礎所研發的國民中學(以下簡稱國中)性教育教學模組,在對花蓮偏鄉地區國中學生進行課程介入後,其性知識、性態度與行為意向各方面的改變情形。本研究採不相等實驗與對照組設計,以立意取樣方式,徵選花蓮地區公立國中6所,分別擔任實驗組及對照組學校,其中有效樣本為實驗組217人,對照組250人,合計467人。課程介入時間為2013年3~5月間,期間以杏陵醫學基金會所發展的「國中階段性教育(含愛滋病防治)教學模組」為教材,由實驗學校原有之授課教師對實驗組學生進行三個單元六堂課,每堂課45分鐘的課程介入。介入前後各一週分別進行前、後測,以確認課程介入效果。研究結果發現,大多數實驗組學生都喜歡這套介入課程,也肯定本套課程對於提升自己各項性教育相關能力的幫助程度。而在介入課程完成後,實驗組學生在性知識、性態度方面,都有顯著優於對照組學生的表現,但兩組在行為意向的表現沒有顯著差異。此外,由實驗組學生的觀察可知,當教師採用本套課程進行教學時,在「學生中心教學法」、「使用不同媒體進行輔助教學」、「多元評量」等技巧的使用頻率都有增加,顯示本套課程不但有助於學生建立正確的性知識、培養正向的性態度,還能提升教師採用良好教學技巧的頻率。

The purpose of this study was to understand the effects of a sexuality education curriculum related to the knowledge, attitude and behavior intention of sex of junior high school students in Hualien. This study adopted nonequivalent experiment control group design. Six junior high schools were selected to join this study. There were 217 effective samples in experiment group and 250 ones in the control group, and 467 second-grade junior high school students were involved in this study. The experiment group underwent the intervention of "Sexuality Education (AIDS prevention included) Teaching Module" (taught in the "Health Education" courses for 6 weeks, 45 minutes per week), while the control group didn't receive any curriculum about sex except those carried routinely. Two groups took pre and post-test to evaluate the intervention effects of the courses. The results showed that the curriculum led to positive effects on sexual knowledge and sexual attitude. The participants had positive evaluation to this curriculum, and approved these courses could increase their ability to cope with problems about sex. The teachers who use this teaching module would more likely to show some teaching skills, such as "students based pedagogy," "using teaching medias" and "multiple assessments." It showed that the curriculum is worth being promoted in the future.
