This research begins with a condense summary of contributions from influential scholars, and so it illustrates how this said work had been positioned and approached. It then proceeds to determine and clarify the development in different schools of thoughts responding to this said work, and proposes the author's personal insights on the essence of Chou-Yi, and comments how virtues, artificial institutions, discourses between the emperor and courtiers, as well as historical perspectives were affected by this philosophical stream, and how most likely this is to develop in the upcoming dacades.
