The etiology of Leukorrhea in TCM is considered as spleen and kidney being attacked bypathogenic factors, or pathogenic factors affecting chong and ren meridians, uterus and genitals directly and cause weak chong and ren meridian. The treatment is focusing on invigorating the spleen to resolve dampness. In our hospital, we had a patient with leucorrhea with large quantity of white discharge which increases during ovulation. The discharge is white, thin and clear, the tongue is light and tender with white coating and teeth-mark, and the pulse is deep and late. The diagnosis is deficient kidney yang with internal cold and deficiency of spleen yang; therefore, the treatment principles are warming the spleen yang and kidney yang and to invigorate spleen to resolve dampness. The patient's leucorrhea is under good control after taking herbs.
