中醫醫療照護於各國之發展與現況

目的：本文旨在說明美國、加拿大、德國、英國、澳大利亞等國家對傳統醫學之發展與其現況。方法：採用描述性研究法分析，以期瞭解各國在中醫醫療照護及相關配套措施之推展情形。結果：美國、加拿大、德國、英國與澳大利亞皆設有國家級管理單位，並制定針灸及草藥標準化的相關法規；中醫針灸從業者只有在澳大利亞與西醫從業者享有相同的法律保護與地位；中醫藥保險給付在澳大利亞已被納入國家醫療保險體系；中醫相關教育與實證實務是各國仍須加強之部分。結論：在使用中醫醫療照護日益趨多之下，本文提供中醫專業之發展與現況，期許能增進醫護人員對傳統醫學之瞭解。建議未來進一步調查分析其他傳統／互補醫學照護之發展與現況。

Aim: This study explored the development and current global situation of Chinese medical care systems in the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom and Australia. Methods: Descriptive methods were applied. Results: Government units in the analyzed countries regulate and manage the acupuncture therapy and herbal medicine. Australia is the only country among those analyzed where acupuncture practitioners hold the same legal protection and professional status as western medical physicians. Additionally, Australia integrates Chinese medical care into its national health insurance systems. However, additional efforts in education related reform and empirical practice are required in those countries. Conclusion: The findings of this study provide medical professionals with relevant information to understand the development and current situation of Chinese medical care in the analyzed countries. Research recommendations include applying the findings as further references, and examining other modalities of traditional medicine.
