Literature Review of Types of Motivation in Exercise

內在動機對運動之探討

摘要


運動對於生理和心理上的健康都有正面的影響,而且從幼年到終老的整個生命週期都是很重要的。根據研究結果,動機是幫助人們提昇學習力以及行爲改變的工具,從無動機到外在動機最後到內在動機。動機對運動的參與、傾向、強度以及對人們持續運動的堅持都息息相關。本文主要是以知名學者的理論和已發表期刊爲基礎,對運動動機所做之文獻回顧。希望此結果可提供一些資訊給老師和研究者,未來用於教學及研究;另一方面,幫助人們提昇參與運動的動機。

Physical exercises have a positive physical and psychological health influences, and it is important in the life cycle from childhood to extreme old age. According to the research, motivation is a facility that helps people advance learning and bring about behavioral changes, progressing from amotivation to extrinsic motivation and finally intrinsic motivation to account for the different reasons why individuals engage in activities. Motivation in exercise refers to the initiation, direction, intensity and persistence of people doing exercise. This review aims to give an overview of types of motivation in exercise based on Self-Determination Theory (SDT) and studies published. Hope this article could give some information to all the physical education class instructors and researchers for the future study; furthermore, help people to increase their motivation involve in physical exercise.
