膠帶業商業模式分析之探索性研究

摘要


臺灣膠帶產業發展至今已近七十年,與石化產業、塑膠基材、化工原料及黏著劑等形成完整的產業鏈,產能與銷量在全球膠帶市場均占了舉足輕重的地位。然而,競爭環境變化,為臺灣膠帶產業結構帶來相當大的衝擊,臺灣產業鏈為了取得低廉的勞工與土地成本等競爭優勢紛紛外移,造成成本、產業群聚等傳統優勢流失,再加上中國企業以量產價低的模式蠶食全球市場,讓臺灣膠帶產業的競爭力及獲利能力遭受嚴格考驗。本研究目的係透過臺灣膠帶產業之商業模式分析,協助其建立競爭優勢,則有機會達到經營轉型的目標。研究結果歸納整理得知,膠帶商業生態系統過度依靠扮演少數關鍵者的基材製造商,連帶降低膠帶商業生態系統的健康程度。膠帶產業應以品牌為基礎來建立平台商業模式,並透過強化專業分工來組成商業生態系統。

The tape industry has been developed for nearly 70 years in Taiwan, forming a complete industry chain with Petrochemical Industry, plastic substrate, industrial chemicals and adhesive that once impress the worldwide tape market with its outstanding productivity and sales volume. However, a huge migration of the industry chain to China has drastically impacted the structure of the Taiwanese tape industry in recent years due to lower land cost and much cheaper labor cost. Moreover, Chinese cooperation tends to set lower price based on greater volume production to encroach on worldwide sales market, of which the tape industry of Taiwan now is under tremendous pressure and is challenged by the limited profitability and competitiveness. This study aims to provide suggestions in regard to establishing competitiveness niches and to create the possibility of business transformation by analyzing business model of the Taiwanese tape industry. Results show that the tape business ecosystem overly relies on the substrate manufacturer who will affect the health of the tape business ecosystem. The business model shall be constructed on the basis of brand first, and therefore the business ecosystem can be developed through the enhanced coordination and specialization for the Taiwanese tape industry.
