近景攝影測量於古蹟、歷史建築之數位化運用與推廣

The Application and Promotion of Digitalized Close-range Photogrammetry on Monuments

摘要


本研究期能引入近景攝影測量方式,建立古蹟歷史建築低成本影像數位化技術,而相較於精密度較高之3D雷射掃描設備,低成本往往影響成果的準確度與使用。如何探討研發低成本的攝影測量技術,同時考量準確度以及低技術門檻的數位化建模,是一項待解決的重要課題。本研究以近景攝影測量方法進行臺灣古蹟建築數位化工作,進行攝影測量方法的準確度評估,期能驗證低成本是否符合古蹟建築的準確度需求外,提供民眾參與文化資產數位保存與數位化學習推廣的基礎工作。

This study introduces the use of close-range photogrammetry to provide a low cost alternative to image digitization technology for historic monuments. Compared to high-precision 3D laser scanning equipment, photogrammetry is a low cost alternative but its lower precision affects the results and the problems of usage need to be addressed. How to explore photogrammetric technology with low cost, high precision, low technology threshold and fast modeling is a very important issue. This study carried out digitization work upon historic monuments in Taiwan using a close-range photogrammetry method, integrated with 3D laser scanning point cloud data, in order to compare basic information gathered and to get an accurate assessment of photogrammetry and 3D laser scanning. It is expected that this study can identify whether or not the precision provided by a low-cost instrument can meet the requirement for documenting historic monuments. Based on the advantages of a low technology threshold, this study will be able to enhance and popularize the perspectives of digitization and preservation of cultural heritage through cultural activities, thus aiming to accomplish the basic task of promoting education via digitization of cultural properties.
