本論文將以直接轉頻之方式為研究基礎,來研製符合歐洲陸地數位電視廣播之數位調諧器模組。此架構包含一1GHz之前低通前置濾波器,低雜訊可變功率放大器,高線性度降頻混頻器,1~2GHz之本地振盪器,以及主動式低通濾波器,將接受到之數位電視訊號直接降頻至IQ訊號,傳送至基頻端解調。. 隨著世界各國陸續開播數位電視以及立法公佈強制類比電視頻道回收之時間表,數位電視相關產業已經成為下一個明星產業,尤其以數位調諧器更是其中之關鍵零組件,目前各國際領導廠商無不爭相投入研發,不過因為類比調諧器架構數十年無變化之下,數位調諧器積體化之進度仍無法像數位通訊產品一樣一日千里,故本論文選擇以通訊系統上非常成熟之直接轉頻技術作為研究架構,以期利用此架構實現符合歐洲陸地數位廣播之數位電視調諧器。為下一步積體化目標打下良好之基礎。
This Thesis uses Direct-Conversion as the basic architecture to implement a digital TV tuner module for European Digital Television Broadcasting – Terrestrial Standard. This architecture contains one 1GHz pre-low pass filter, variable gain LNA, high linear down mixer, 1~2GHz local oscillator, and the active low pass filter. The module will convert the RF signal to the IQ directly for the base-band demodulator. As the countries all over the world have started their Digital TV service and announced the deadline for recycling the analog TV band, digital TV industry has became the market spot and digital Tuner is especially the key component in digital TV related products. All international heavy weight companies are devoting aggressively in this field, but the slow technology steps in analog TV tuner, the schedule for digital TV tuner IC is still away behind the mature communication ICs. That’s why we chance Direct-Conversion which is very popular in recent communication ICs as our basic architecture to implement a DVB-T based digital TV tuner module, and make it as the foundation to the IC-Based digital TV tuner.
