在資訊爆炸的時代,良好的視覺呈現方式將有助於資訊需求者有效且精確的掌握資訊內容並進行判斷。近十年來資訊視覺化的發展已經成為一個跨學科且廣泛探索的特色領域。資訊視覺化在資訊擷取、超文件與網際網路、數位典藏、資料探勘以及人機介面等領域皆有明顯的功效。 本論文研究調查了數種資訊視覺化系統個案,探討各方法之適應領域及優缺點並以各視覺化模型之優點為基底,開發了以改良式魚眼圖為主軸之資訊視覺化系統。同時為研究資訊視覺化之使用性,研究系統以使用性原則進行設計,幫助使用者能夠快速、正確理解資訊內容。並嘗試將股票市場之資訊導入資訊視覺化系統,以演算法自動將股價資訊與壓力訊息轉換為對應之視覺化圖形,輔助使用者藉由視覺化介面呈現之趨勢搜尋結果,迅速判斷市場壓力甚至進一步預測接下來市場趨勢的變化。而視覺化系統也將以友善的環境方便使用者進行資訊提取,並提供使用者以自行繪製圖形的方式進行搜尋,使人機之間的互動更加的直覺。 藉由文獻整理與使用者評估的結果,本研究定義並提供資訊視覺化系統應遵循之使用性原則,並發現使用者透過以視覺化輸入搜尋行為並以視覺化結果輸出之互動模式,能夠幫助其以更快的速度以及更有效率的方式進行投資標的選擇,並透過易用的介面輔助降低投資者進入市場之門檻。
Friendly visualization is helpful to the user to reveal the important meaning in the digital content and make decisions. In the last decade, information visualization has developed vigorously and become a research topic to integrate information technology and visual design. It has been proved to be effective in the fields of information retrieval, Internet queries, digital content data mining and human-machine interface. In this research, we survey different cases of information visualization to discover out their advantages and disadvantages. An improved model of Fish-Eyes View is used in our prototype system. Usability is studied to find out the design principles to help the users to understand and search the information he/she needs. The information of stock market is retrieved automatically by our visualization prototype and then converted to intuitive layouts in the visualization interface. The user can make strategic decisions about the stock market easier than before. An interface to draw the curve of information by hand can aid the user to find the specified data intuitively in the large database of stock market. Finally evaluation is performed to reveal the effect of usability design in the prototype. It is found that all the users in the evaluation test can retrieve the data more efficiently and determine the target in the market.
