從《深河》的故事形塑看遠藤周作的宗教多元觀

摘要
摘要 遠藤周作在日本文壇中除在「戰後第三代新人」的作家當中具有承先啟後的關鍵地位之外，同時也是以「天主教作家」身分為日本近代文學中的拓荒者。一生當中數部代表作主題均與天主教息息相關。 雖然以「天主教作家」身分創作，遠藤的作品核心依舊是以「人」為中心。其作品中的人物形象與故事形塑往往同時兼具宗教意識與文學創作的可讀性。 《深河》作為遠藤生前最後一部與宗教相關的作品，其中所探討的內容不只是做為過去作品中宗教思想的回顧與反思，同時也與時俱進的增加關於基督宗教與世界其他宗教之間的關係為議題。其中從宗教多元論的觀點探討宗教脫離固有的制度框架，進而追溯宗教本質而提出「一神教與汎神教之間並非絕對對立」的概念是其創作與宗教思想中最大的轉變。 在《深河》的故事中，遠藤藉由故事中人物的經歷與互動配合劇情推展，試著對於「罪」、「惡」、「愛」、「救贖」等過往作品中曾探討過的主題重新思考，同時嘗試將自身所信仰的一神教與與東方國家主流的汎神教思想做出新的詮釋。 本文將由對於其中人物的「主題」歷程與故事安排為切入點，輔以約翰．希克的宗教多元論的觀點，對於遠藤在宗教思想上的轉變做一初步探索。 關鍵字：遠藤周作、約翰．希克、《深河》、宗教多元論、愛

Abstract Shusaku Endo in Japanese literature, in addition to the "third generation of postwar newcomers" among the writers of the key positions is with continuity, but also a "Catholic authors" status as a pioneer of modern Japanese literature. Number of unit lifetime masterpiece topics is closely linked with the Catholic Church.
