在若干溫度下以環己烷為溶劑溶有質子接受體與2,6-二第三丁基一對一甲酚之溶液中觀測羥基質子磁共振信號之化學差移。本項研究推導一新反覆漸近法可以用來求取氫鍵聚合之平衡常數及氫鍵錯合物之化學差移。本反覆漸近法在應用上已無需設置質子接受體濃度需大量超過質子授與體濃度之限制。實驗顯示各種氫鍵錯合物之羥基質子之化學差移均隨溫度變化而變化。本項研究並用平衡常數之溫度變化決定氫鍵聚合平衡之熱力學參數∆H°及∆S°之值。
The chemical shifts of the pmr signals of the-OH proton were measured in the solutions of 2,6-di-tert-Dutyl-p-cresol with 6 proton acceptors in cyclohexane at different temperatures. A new iterative method has been developed to obtain the association constants and the chemical shifts of hydrogen-bonded complexes. The limitation in concentration which requires large excesses of proton-acceptor as compared with proton-donor is no longer existing in this method. The value of the chemical shift of the-OH for a given hydrogen-bonded complex was found to be temperature dependent. The thermodynamic data for hydrogen-bonding were also determined.
