摘要
碳(6)－碳(1)酚醛化合物的2,4-二硝基苯腙衍生物之研究，在第一編報告中^1已記載十二種在天然物中常出現的「羥型」，本編再報告另外十二種「羥型」（包括甲氧基）的特性，並比較記錄各衍生物的紫外線與紅外線吸收光譜的變化。同時利用所獲得二十四種衍生物做色層分析實驗。

2,4-Dinitrophenylhydrazone derivatives of 12 phenolic aldehydes were prepared. Ultraviolet absorption spectra, from methanol solution, and infrared absorption spectra , from KBr pellet, were recorded for comparison of their characteristic ＂hydroxylation (and methoxylation) patterns＂ in the phenolic aldehydes. Chromatographic separation of these ＂hydroxylation patterns＂ in the 24 different 2, 4-dinitrophenylhydrazones, 12 derivatives from the present experiment plus additional 12 derivatives from previous investigation, were attempted. Preliminary result of the separation involving seven solvent systems for paper chromatography and one solvent system for thin-layer chromatography was discussed.
