In the procedure for quantitation of caffeine in gas chromatography as outlined in this report, the retention time of caffeine and the concentration of caffeine showed a strong correlation: the retention time increased linearly with decreasing concentration for aqueous caffeine ranging between 25μg/ml and 100 μg/ml.
