新生兒之分類及其生存率
The Classification of Newborn Infants and Neonatal Survival Rate

摘要
最近各先進國家都有新生兒分類及其死亡率的統計。今據馬偕紀念醫院過去二年間出生活産兒的體重、身長、頭圍及懷孕週數加以分類，並研究其生存率。本報告可做爲中國新生兒最近的參攷資料。

Recently there have been many reports written about the classification of newborn infants and the neonatal mortality rate in many foreign advanced countries. In the past two years from July, 1971 to June, 1973 we have had 4, 684 live birth cases at Mackay Memorial Hospital. From observing these cases we have also made intrauterine growth charts and classifying newborn infants by birth weight-gestational age, birth length-gestational age and head girth-gestational age. In addition, a study has been made of the neonatal survival rate. Therefore this report may serve as a recent reference for pediatricians and obstetricians in our country.
