Recurrent Transient Histiocytosis with Striking Phagocytosis of Erythrocytes, Leukocytes and Platelets-A Case Report

摘要

暫時性的組識球增殖症可發生於幾種病症中，包括傷寒、布魯氏菌症、粟粒型結核、寄生蟲感染症、溶血性貧血以及代謝性疾患等。本文報告一個1歲8個月的男孩，具有惡性組織球增殖症的典型症狀與病徵；包括發熱、倦怠、肝脾腫大，全血球性貧血，及在骨髓鏡檢中發現組織球之增殖並伴有顯著吞噬紅血球、血小板、白血球現象。這些症狀與經使用抗生素治療後便回復正常，可能歸因於某種細菌的感染。此病童經一年餘的詳細追蹤觀察，顯示發育正常，身體健康，臨床上完全沒有症狀。

Bone marrow examinations were done on a 1-year-8-month-oid male patient who had many classic symptoms and signs similar to malignant histiocytosis initially. A complete recovery resulted without any management against reticuloendotheliosis but antibiotic adminisiration. There was a remarkable correlation between proliferation of the phagocytic histiocytes in the bone marrow and the clinical improvement. The histiocytosis with striking panhemophagocytosis was attributed to a reactive nature.
