臺中市學齡兒童的身高、體重、頭圍正常值及其相關因素之調查研究

摘要

榮民總醫院臺中分院小兒科於民國72年9月中旬至11月初旬，對臺中市區的學齡兒童展開身高、體重、頭圍之測量調查，一共調查了28,874名學童，男學童為14,594名，女學童為14,280名。測量所得結果，經由電腦統計分析，而完成正常生長曲線圖表，同時還分折各種相關因素之影響。其結果，平均身高在8-9歲組以前，男生高於女生，10-11歲組起至本報告最高年齡組11-12歲組，女生高於男生；平均體重在10-11歲組以前，男生重於女生，11-12歲組，則女生重於男生；平均頭圍；男生在每個年齡組都大於女生。探討相關因素之影響發現出生體重正常或過重者，在家排行老大者，月收入高者之家庭，子女少於3個以下者，其三項之生長發育都領先。將此次研究結果與民國61年（臺北縣新莊地區）及民國66年（高雄市）所作之調查結果相比較，可見到在體重及身高之發育有明顯的增長現象。

From September, 1983 to November 1983, the authors carried out study of the body height, weight and head girth of 28,874 normal healthy children, age from 6 to 12 years, in the primary schools of Taichung city. The results were analyzed by computer and summarized as follows: 1. In age groups below 8-9 years, the mean height of the boys surpasses those of the girls; beyond 10-12 years old, the girls' surpasses the boys'. In the age group below 10-11 years, the mean weight of the boys surpasses that of the girls, but at the age of 11-12 years, or the oldest group in this study, the girls' surpasses the boys'. Up to the age of 11-12 years, the mean head girth of the boys is larger than those of the girls. 2. The factors influencing growth development were investigated. The children who had normal or large birth weight, the eldest of siblings, or children from famlies with high income and fewer than three siblings, growth and development are outstanding. (P value＜0.001). 3. A comparison of this study with those obtained in 1972 (ShinchuangTaipei) and in 1977 (Kaohsiung) shows evident increment of the growth on body weight and height. This article also presents a normal growth curve for .clinical application.
