Unilateral Agenesis of the Lung: Report of A Case
單側肺部發育不全：一病例報告
摘要
單側肺部發育不全是一種罕見的小兒肺部疾病，左側發育不全可能沒有症狀，通常是在例行胸部X光檢查中，或是因其他疾病死後解剖時才意外發現。此病有時併有心臓、肺部血管、脊椎骨、肋骨及橫隔膜的先天性畸形。本文報告一3個月大男嬰，出生後無明顯症狀，因呼吸聲音較大，在例行胸部X光檢查中，被發現有左側肺部發育不全。此爲馬偕紀念醫院小兒科第一個生前診斷病例，特提出臨床觀察報告，並回顧有關文獻加以討論。

Unilateral Pulmonary agenesis may be asymptomatic and is discovered incidentally on chest radiography. Associated defects, though inconstant, may involve the heart, vertebrae, ribs, pulmonary vessels and diaphragm. In most cases, the hemithorax would be smaller than the contralateral side. This would be manifested by mediastinal shift, elevation of the hemidiaphragm, closer approximation of the ribs, and sparse pulmonary vessels. A case of asymptomatic agenesis of the left lung in a three-month-old male infant is presented with findings on chest X-ray film, digital subtraction angiograms and computerized tomogram.
