摘要

義大利圖書館由政府文化部門管理，因為圖書館建築及其收藏之維護、保存當作為文化環境保護之一環。圖書館法也反映此觀念，對讀者的圖書館及其資料的利用有原則性規定，然而對貴重性資料的使用有比較詳細的規定，而依須要，各別圖書館也保留自行制定規定的權利。
