從學校觀點談SARS防治

The Prevention of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome in Schools

摘要


本文主要目的在於從三段五級的預防觀點談校園SARS防治及策略,其中強調多層次的介入(包括個人、家庭、學校與社區);透過個人、家長、學校及社區的共同參與及資源整合,達成SARS的全面性防治。此外,本文尚調查了學童對於SARS的認識,看法及採取的預防行為;並針對不足之處提出對主管機關、學校、家庭與媒體之改進建議,以期更有較的預防SARS及降低不必要的恐慌。

The purpose of this paper is to address strategies toward SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) from the point of view of three levels of prevention on school campuses. The strategies emphasize multi-level intervention (including individual, family, school, and community). The strategies act through community participation and resource integration to achieve a comprehensive intervention which can effectively prevent the spread of SARS on campus. In addition, the authors explore schoolchildren's knowledge, attitudes, and practice for preventing SARS. Besed on the findings of this investigation, the authors recommend suggestions to official organizations, school administrators, families, and the mass media to improve the effectiveness of SARS prevention and to reduce unnecessary panic.
