Studies on Cold Damage Construction Aspect in Greater Yang Disease by Shang-Han Lun

摘要

傷寒論太陽病寒傷營分的內容，主要分兩大類：一類為寒傷營分之表的疾病，以麻黃湯為主治方；另一類為寒傷營分之裡的疾病，主要以討論傷寒為造因的肺源性心臟病，而以梔子豉湯為治療的基本方劑。先天稟賦不足者，傷寒邪熱易傳變入裡，引起胸膜炎、肋膜積水，或心包積水、心填塞，或慢性腎炎，慢性胰臟炎及其併發症等內科疾病。以麻黃湯發汗，要注意麻黃的副作用，過汗可引起竇性心動過速症。素有心臟病者，傷寒易引發心力衰竭；中氣素虛，或血氣衰微者，傷寒易引起心律不整，而分別以四逆湯、小建中湯、炙甘草湯治療。

In the Greater yang disease of ”Shang-han Lun”, the content of cold damage construction aspect divided two patterns: one pattern is the exterior diseases of cold damage construction aspect, whereas the ephedra decoction is chief formula. Another pattern is the interior diseases of cold damage construction aspect, which pulmonary heart disease caused by cold damage was main discussed object. Gardenia and fermented soybean decoction is a basic formula for treating pulmonary heart disease. If congenital immunity deficiency, the evil heat of cold damage was easy passage and transmutation to interior tissues organ of body and caused pleurisy, pleural effusion, pericardial effusion, cardiac tamponade, chronic nephritis, chronic pancreatitis and it's complication. It should be care side effect when sweating with ephedra decoction, over sweating which will promotes sinus tachycardia. The cold damage will induce heart failure attack if the patient with heart disease history and promotes arrhythmias if the patients present the central qi vacuity or the blood and qi debilitation. The formulas of counterflow cold decoction treated heart failure; Minor Center-Fortifying Decoction and Honey-Fried Licorice Decoction treated arrhythmias were individually administrated.
