A new species of Muricid Nipponotrophon is described and named as N. jungi. This new species were found from the deep sea off the Pratas Is. in South China Sea by Mr. Bor-seng Jung. Holotype (32.5mm) is deposited in Taiwan Museum, Taipei, Taiwan.
