Tricuspid valve dysplasia (TVD) is a congenital heart disease in dogs and cats. The diagnosis of TVD depends on complete cardiological examinations including auscultation, radio-graphic, electrocardiographic and echocardiographic examinations. The clinical, radiographic, electrocardiographic and echocardiographic features of a 2-year-old, male cocker spaniel with TVD was described. The dog presented ascites and had a history of syncope for one year. Radiographic and electrocardiographic examinations showed cardiomegaly and right heart enlargement. Echocardiographic examination revealed enlargement of right atrium, right ventricle, tricuspid valve anulus and papillary muscles hypertrophy and tricuspid valve regurgitation in color Doppler ultrasonographic examination.
