速生闊葉樹材之製漿造紙研究

摘要


本實驗以速生樹種之銀合歡、木油桐、和泡桐邊皮材等為試料,進行各種製漿試驗。同時更進一步的探討銀合歡之品系、樹齡、栽植密度和樹皮等對製漿性之影響。由實驗結果得知,上述三樹種材,不但紙接收率高,而且紙力佳,適合製造高級紙漿。銀合歡樹齡小,紙漿收率低,故輪伐期不宜過徑。裁植密度高者,不但直徑小,而且木材比重低,故銀合歡不適密植。含皮製漿對紙漿品質影響很小,尤其不會產生樹皮斑點,蒸解時似乎不必剝皮。

The objective of this paper is to study the effects of different breed, rotation, spacing of plantation and cooking condition of chips (with bark) on the pulp properties of Leucaena leucocephala. Sapwood (wastes from lumber industry) of Aleurites montana and Paulownia taiwaneana have also been pulped.• The results are concluded as follows: 1. The high yield and good physical properties of kraft pulps made from fast- grown hardwood species are better suited for fine paper manufacture. 2. Juvenile pulpwood is characterized by lower pulp yield, higher percentage of. bark with small diameters of bole, so the desirable otation age should be over 4 years. 3. For the same age (3- year old), specific gravity was higher in larger diameter ones ( Diameter 9 cm, sp• gr. 0.50; diameter 3 cm, sp• gr. 0.33). 4. It seemed that no conspicuous effects on the pulp qualities for which barks are present in chips or not, so the removal •of bark is not required prior to cooking. 5. Fast-grown hardwood species were favorable for manufacture of NSSCP (for 70 % yield with comparable strength properties to kraft pulp). 6. Fast-growth hardwoods can result in lower specific gravity which has been found to affect the pulp productivity.
