摘要


本研究探討微波照射對木材立彈性係數與韌性係數之影響,以瞭解微波照射對木材可塑性之改善效應。可得次述之結果:(1)微波照射對木材造成彈性係數最小值及韌性係數最大值之有一個最適微波照射時間,在本實驗範圍內約為2-4分鐘。(2)在最適微波照射時問下,微控照射材之最犬揖由值會較氣乾材大兩倍以上,其彎曲彈性係數會降至氣乾材的20%~30%,韌性係數則增大6倍以上。(3)微波照射材之韌性係數最大值會隨其彈性係數最小值之倒數的增加而呈直線相關增大。(4)微波加熱對木材可塑性之改善效應雖有樹種選擇性,但有針葉樹材>省產闊葉樹材>南洋材之趨勢。

T h e purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of microwave irradiation on the modulus of elasticity and toughness of wood, in order to understand the improving effects on the plasticity of wood, The experimental results are summarizedd as follows: 1. The microwave irradiation of wood showed an appropriate time to make minimum modulus of elasticity and maximum toughness condition, the optimum treating time was about 2~4 minutes in this study. 2. Under the optimum time of microwave irradiation, the deformations of wood induced by microwave irradiation were more than twice as qreat as those of air dried wood, While toughnes was more than six times as great as those of air dried wood. However, the modul us of elasticity was only 20%~30% that of air dried wood. 3. The maximum toughness of microwave irradiated wood increased linearly with increasing value of the Inverse of modulus of elasticity (1/E_b). 4. The improving effects of microwave irradiation on the plasticity of wood showed the species dependent nature However, it showed the following general trend, Softwoods>Native hardwoods>Imported S. E. Asian hardwoods.
