摘要


由於木材劣化而產生之顯微改變亦造成其滲透性之變化,木材滲透性影響其防腐,乾燥,及製漿等加工處理甚鉅。本論文研討受害枯立之黃松木邊材,在枯立後,其滲透性隨時間之變異。研究發現,木材之縱向及徑向之滲透性增加甚為迅速,以其縱、徑及弦向與健全木材相比,當枯立1年後,其增加率分別為25,14,及2倍,而枯立五年後,其增加率則分別成為52,36,及4倍,自然此隨木材方向而相異之滲透性變化,可歸因於木材枯立後,真菌在木材內之特殊行為而造成的。經由木材滲透性與衝擊試驗之相關分析結果,得到顯著之關係,因此亦說明木材腐朽率亦同時在增加。

The change in the anatomical structure of deteriorated wood causes the change in its permeability. Permeability of wood greatly affects preservation, drying, and pulping of wood. The permeability of ponderosa pine wood taken from the sapwood of standing trees insect-killed for various years were studied. It was found that the wood became very permeable mainly in the longitudinal and radial direction. The permeability in the longitudinal, radial, and tangential directions of sapwood one year after death increased 25, 14, and 2 times from those of living wood, respectively. The corresponding increase of sapwood from trees dead five years was 52, 36 and 4 times. The large differential increases in the grain direction of wood are accounted for by the conspicuous fungi activities in the sapwood following the insect-infestation. The correlation between longitudinal permeability and toughness of sapwood was significant, indicating that a wood permeability increase reflects wood decay.
