學校課桌椅在發育中之學童日常生活中,接觸是最平凡的設備,其設計課製作之良窳影響學童之身心健康與教學效果甚鉅。近年來我國經濟的成長,國民生活水準的提高,青少年之體位均有顯著的提高。舊有的課桌椅是否合乎現代學童之需求,有待探討。本研究以問卷調查方式,針對台中縣、台中市之國民小學之課桌椅的使用和破壞情形進行調查研究。重要之研究結果如下:1.台中縣、台中市之國民小學現採用之課桌椅百分之百均使用雙人共桌、單人單椅之組合。但有68.24%的受訪者認為採用單椅之組合較適當。2.現有課桌椅之顏色,96.1%是採用褐色,而有69.19%的受訪者認為褐色系列太過單調沈悶,不其活潑性。3.桌子之破壞情形,以抽屜底板最為嚴重;抽屜中隔板次之,顯示抽屜之結構不良。椅子接合部位之破壞情形以後腳與座板倒檔之接合處,破壞最嚴重。
School classroom furnitures are the most fundamental facilities used by pupils during their learning life. The design and manufacturing quality of classroom furniture may have great influence on the healthy and learning efficiency of elementary school's pupils. Due to the economic growth in recent years, the living standard was significantly improved. As a result, the physical conditions of young pupils were much improved recently. In this study a questionnaire survey was used to investigate the opinions of user and damaged situation of elementary school classroom furniture in Taichung area of Taiwan. The results obtained of this studies are summarized as follows: 1. Surveying data indicated that 68.24 96 questioner preferred the cnmbination of single table and chair over the double table and single chair. 2. The 96.1% of classroom furniture were brown color and showed the original wood grain. The 69.19% questioner considered that such a color is monotonous, tedious and not an active color. 3. Surveying data indicated that the damage of drawer bottom was also the most serious problem in classroom desk and followed by such as the drawer center partition. This indicates that the drawer construction of the commercial elementary school classroom furniture was not suitably constructed. For classroom chairs the joints of side raiI and back post damages are the most serious problems.
