定向粒片板(OSB)用薄片之數種基本性質探討

摘要


本報係探討利用盤式切片機(Disc flaker),切削可供定向性粒片板(OSB)製造用之薄片的基礎性質。本實驗使用柳杉與杉木兩種木材,其前處理有氣乾材、冷水處理材、熱水處理材及微波處理材等四種。切削方向分為縱向切削(90°-0°,即刀尖線與木理方向成垂直,但切削方向與木理方向成平行者)及橫向切削(0°-90°,即刀尖線與木理方向成平行,但切削方向與木理方向成垂直者)。得到結果如次:(1)縱向切削會使薄片產生捲曲現象,氣乾材甚至會發生折斷痕,故應以橫向切削為佳,可得較為平整之薄片。(2)薄片之厚度變異性甚大,無論何種處理或切削方向,均以柳杉較杉木為大。但縱向切削薄片之厚度會較橫向切削為小。(3)薄片之縱向引張強度係以冷水處理材最佳,其次為熱水處理材及氣乾材。杉木薄片之縱向引張強度均大於柳杉薄片,尤其以冷水處理材為明顯。(4)膠合面積為100%時,無法測出薄片之膠合強度,但在50%與25%膠合面積時,無論是面狀或點狀塗佈方式,其膠合強度,杉木薄片為18.2-31.7 kgf/cm^2,柳杉薄片為13.5-30.6 kgf/cm^2,杉木薄片會稍大於柳杉薄片。(5)綜合之,利用盤式切片機進行切削時,其係以杉木經冷水處理後,進行橫向切削(0°-90°)者,可得較佳之薄片。

The purpose of this study was to investigate some basic properties of flake for making the oriented strand board (OSB) cutted by disc flaker. Jampanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) and China fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) were pretreated by four conditions: air dried, cold water and hot water impregnated, and microwave radiation, cutting direction was divided into Iongitudinal cutting (90°-0°, namely the knife edge Iine was vertical to grain direction, but cutting direction was parallel to grain direction), and transversal cutting (0°-90°, namely the knife edge line was parallel to the grain direction, but the cutting direction was vertical to the grain direction). The experimental results were summarized as follow: (1) The longitudinal cutting will induced the curling of flake, furthermore the breaking mark will be occured on the air-dried wood, Thus the smooth and better properties of flake will be obtained from transversal cutting. (2) The variation of thickness of flake was very large, the variation value of thickness for Japanese cedar was greater than that of China fir for four pretreated conditions and two cutting directions. However, the thickness of flake was thinner for longitudinal cutting than that of transversal cutting. (3) The value of longitudinal tension strength of flake showed the following decreased order: cold water impregnated wood>hot water impregnated wood>air-dried wood. While the value of longitudinal tension strength of China fir wood was greater than that of Japanese cedar wood, especially it was obviously for cold water impregnated wood. (4) When the bonding area of flake was 100%, it can not assessed the bonding strength of flakes. However , while the bonding areas were 50% and 25%, both film gluing or part gluing, the bonding strength was 18.2-31.7 kgf/cm^2 for China fir flake and 13.5-30.6 kgf/cm^2 for Japanese cedar flake, and the former was slightly greater than that of the latter. (5) From this study we could concluded that the better flake will be obtained when the China fir wood was impregnated with cold water and then transversal cut (0°-90°) by using disc flaker.
