The purpose of this research is to study the dimensional stabiliy of the oriented strand of compositeboard (OSB) made from bamboo and Italian fast-growing poplar, and the effects of resin type, strand thickness, ratio of bamboo strand, board density, mat structure, glue level, bamboo and the acidity of material etc. on the composite OSB were analyzed. The results showed: (1)increasing the board density could increase the LE (Linear expension) of the board and reduce the TS (Thickness swelling) of the board; (2)raising the ratio of bamboo strand could improve the dimensional stability of the OSB board; (3)the thickness swelling of the board made with PF resin could be raised as the acidity was increased , however the water adsorption of composits OSB made of higher PH value was lower and suitable to decrease Linear expansion of the board.
