柳杉材含水率對釘接強度之影響

摘要


本研究利用省產柳杉材作為木材接合試驗之材料,所使用的金屬扣件是鐵釘,主要分析含水率12%至25%之間對木材三切面之垂直引拔抵抗以及側向引拔抵抗之影響,同時也分析鐵釘規格對木材含水率變化時之差異性。其結果顯示鐵釘在試材弦切面之垂直引拔抵抗能力較徑切面之結果高12%,而橫切面的垂直引拔抵抗能力僅為徑切面者之66%。垂直引拔抵抗能力以木材含水率12%者最高,而含水率25%之條件下僅為前者的67%,且隨著釘直徑的增加,含水率的影響有降低的趨勢。乾燥材釘入後再吸濕之鐵釘垂直引拔抵抗值,較潮濕木材釘入後脫濕之試材高25.8%,但在側向引拔抵抗能力方面,則後者略較前者高9.7%。鐵釘側向引拔抵抗能力以木材含水率12%時為較優。對木結構常用之8d、10d、16d釘而言,釘垂直引拔抵抗並未隨釘直徑加大而提高,但側向引拔抵抗則有明顯的改善效果。鐵釘側向引拔抵抗能力受木材含水率的影響不如垂直引拔抵抗,在含水率12%時的釘著強度優于含水率25%時的16%。

The effect of moisture content of Japanese cedar lumber on the withdrawal resistance and lateral resistance of nails are investigated in the study. The results indicate that the value of withdrawal resistance of nails from tangential face of wood is 12% higher than that of from radial face, and the value withdrawn from cross section of wood is about 66% of that from radial face. The value of withdrawal resistance of nails tested at the 25% moisture content (MC) level for the specimens is only 67% of that tested at 12% MC level, however, the influence of MC is reduced as the diameter of nails increases. The value of withdrawal resistance tested from the specimens absorbed from 12% of MC level after nailing is 25.8% higher than that of specimens adsorbed from 25% of MC level after nailing, on the contrast, there is 9.7% less between the two conditions in the case of lateral resistance of nails. As to the 8d, 10d, 16d nails, the performance of withdrawal resistance is not improved by using larger sizes of nails, on the other hand, a significant improvement is found in the case of lateral resistance of nails. The influence of MC of the specimens on the ability of lateral resistance of nails is not as effective as on the ability of withdrawal resistance, and there is 16% higher in lateral resistance tested at 12% of MC level than that of tested at 25% of MC level.
