蒸煮溫度與時間對孟宗竹材色與表面性質之影響

孟宗竹材為本省主要森林資源之一,自古即常被用於日常生活中,最近在裝演材料的應用亦日受囑目。蒸煮處理是利用蒸汽加熱使竹材材色改變之技術。本研究係探討加工過程中,蒸煮溫度與蒸煮時間對孟宗竹材顏色與表面性質的影響加以探討,試驗結果得之孟宗竹材為一較明亮的淡黃色系材料。蒸煮後的孟宗竹材材面的明度隨著蒸煮溫度的上升與時間的增長而降低,且色差值增大,同時蒸煮溫度的影響較蒸煮時間為大,其迴歸方程式為BR(%)=253.62-0.34t-1.12T,R^2=0.5667;ΔE*=-68.69+ 0.14t + 0.49T,R^2=0.5109,t:蒸煮時間、T:蒸煮溫度。竹材蒸煮後,只要平飽超過1mm以上,在一定的蒸煮條件下,孟宗竹在不同深度的材面顏色差異不大。同時蒸煮處理對竹材硬度影響不大。但適當的蒸煮溫度與時間,可改善竹材的濕潤性,其中蒸煮溫度以在145°C以下為佳。

Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) is one of the major forest resources in Taiwan. It has been used often in our life since the ancient, and gradually people pay more and more attentions to moso bamboo's applications to decorative materatials. Bamboo color can be changed by steaming. The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of steaming temperature and time on the color and the surface properties of moso bamboo. The main results are summaried as followed: Moso bamboo is a light yellow material. Brightness retention<BR) and color difference(ΔE*) of steaming treatment moso bamboo are dependent on steaming temperature and time.The regression equations are BR(%)=253.62 - 0.34t - 1.12T , R2=0.5667 ; ΔE*= - 68.69 + 0.14t + 0.49T , R^2=0.5109. (t: steaming time , T: steaming temperature). When a bamboo are planed over 1mm,the color difference is hardly observed under the same steaming treatment. The effect of steaming treatment on hardness of moso bamboo is negligi ble. But, the proper steaming temperature and time will improve the wettability of moso bamboo. The better result will be obtained by using steaming temperature below 145℃.
