農林廢料製造木材膠合劑之研究(VIII)-樹皮萃取物及其共聚合樹脂膠合劑所製造粒片板之性質

Studies on the Manufacture of Wood Adhesives from the Residue of Agriculture and Forest(VIII)-Properties of Particleboards Made with Bark Extractive and Its Copolymer Resin Adhesives

摘要


本研究乃探討相思樹及杉木之樹皮萃取物及其所備製膠合劑應用於粒片板製造時之板材性質,並以PF樹脂為對照組進行比較。由試驗結果得知,PF樹脂合成時之NaOH添加量較高者,其所製粒片板之性質較差,且所需之熱壓溫度較高,時間較長。直接以相思樹樹皮萃取物為粒片板膠合劑時,以福馬林為架橋劑者,其粒片板之常態靜曲強度及內聚強度可達CNS 150型粒片板之要求,但耐水性質偏低。將樹皮萃取物加入PF樹脂中可改善粒片板之常態靜曲強度及內聚強度,然耐水性不良。相思樹樹皮萃取物與酚及甲醛在NaOH/P之mole比為0.55條件下合成之PAF-1共聚合樹脂所需之熱壓溫度較PF樹脂低,熱壓時間較PF樹脂短,在熱壓溫度180°C,熱壓時間6 min時,其粒片板之常態及耐沸水靜曲強度、彈性係數、內聚強度等均可達CNS 200型粒片板之要求。以杉木樹皮萃取物為原料之PCF樹脂,其粒片板性質雖略低於PAF者,但仍可達CNS 200型粒片板之要求。

This study investigated the properties of particleboards made with Taiwan acacia bark and China fir bark extractives and its copolymer resin adhesives, and PF resins would be used as the controls. The results from these tests were summarized as follows. When PF resins which had more amount of NaOH added at synthesis had been used in the fabrication of particleboard, worse boards properties would be gained, and higher temperature and longer time would be needed at hot-pressing. Particleboard bonded by extractive with formalin as crosslinking agent had dry bending strength (MOR) and internal bonding strength (lB) over the requisite of CNS 2215 for 150 type particleboard, but their wet resistance properties were not good. When PF resins were blended with extractives and used as adhesives of particleboard, the properties of dry MOR and IB of these boards would be improved, but their wet resistance properties were still not good. The hot-pressing time and temperature needed for the copolymer resin of PAF-1 made from acacia bark extractive, phenol and formaldehyde, and with the molar ratio of NaOH/P of 0.55 would be lower than PF resins. At 180°C of hot-pressing temperature and 6 minutes of hot-pressing time, their dry and wet MOR, modulus of elasticity, IB strength would over the requisite of CNS 2215 for 200 type particleboard. The properties of particleboard made from PCF resins, the copolymer resin of China fir bark extractive, phenol and formaldehyde, were slightly lower than that of PAF resins, but still over the requisite of CNS 2215 for 200 type particleboard.
